School Uniform!

Children wear school uniform every day. We expect them to wear the correct colours but the school's logo is optional. 

  • Burgundy Jumper or Cardigan
  • White Top
  • Black Trousers or Skirt
  • Black Footwear - no sliders, crocs, flip flops - shoes should be securely fastened with laces, velcro, elastic or buckles.

All children are provided with a free jumper when they start school.

We also have a PE uniform for years 1 to 6

  • burgundy top, black joggers, leggings or shorts and suitable footwear.

Where to buy school uniform

Uniform can be purchased from the school office, through our WEDUC App, online for home delivery, from local shops / supermarkets or from a Bulwell Market stall holder.

Pre-loved Uniform

We also have a rail of clean, good quality ‘pre-loved’ uniform available free. It is  wheeled out for Friday assemblies but if you would like to browse at other times ask the classroom or office staff and someone will show you where it is. We are also happy to take donations of washed, good quality, second-hand uniform.

There are no minimum order quantities and your uniform will be delivered directly to your chosen address.

As well as our approved decorated school uniform, you are also able to order plain items such as trousers, skirts and shirts.

We will still keep some stock in school too but hope you will find using this new service an improvement in our school uniform supply.

 

Hair

  • Hair that is below shoulder length should be tied back, for safety and to avoid the spreading/catching of nits.
  • Hair should be a natural colour, no bright dye colours.
  • Hair below the shoulder will always be required to be tied back for sports.
  • Headbands can be worn, but no fancy dress head items, on a normal day at school.

Jewellery

  • Jewellery should be avoided where possible
  • One small set of stud earing can be worn, but MUST be able to be taken out by the child for PE activities or parents provide strong sports plasters to fully cover them. No hooped or dangly earrings.
  • No child will be allowed to swim with jewellery on – this is down to swimming centre rules
  • Necklaces, bracelets or other forms of jewellery are not allowed
  • A small amount of appropriate religious jewellery is allowed in exceptional cases and must be agreed by the headteacher

       Watches

  • Watches can be worn by children
  • No smart watches are allowed – nothing that can connect to messaging, internet, phone or take photos
  • Fitness bands are allowed, as long as they can’t connect to the internet, messaging, phone or take photos
  • No tracking tags are allowed in school or on any school related activity/trip – including Apple Tags or similar tracking devices.

        Nails and Make Up

  • Children are not allowed to wear false nails and will be required to remove them if worn
  • Children should not wear nail varnish
  • Children should not wear any make up and will be required to remove it in school if it is worn
