Nursery Admissions

We offer Nursery places to children once they have turned 3. Please contact the school office on 0115 9155755 to find out the details of our latest open morning. Attending an open morning provides you with the chance to see the nursery and meet the staff before deciding to put your child's name on our waiting list. If you decide that you would like your child to join our nursery, we will give you a short form to fill in and their name will be added to the waiting list. Once they have turned 3, and a place has become available, we will contact you. 

Nursery Provision

We offer either:

• 15 hour provision - Children attend nursery every day for either the morning (8.50am - 11.50am) or afternoon (12.30pm-3.30pm).

If eligible:

• 30 hour provision - Children attend nursery every day from 8.50am - 3.30pm. They have their lunch at school. You can either provide a packed lunch or pay for a school meal.

Reception (F2)

We have a thriving Reception unit, which consists of 2 classes for our 4 and 5 year olds, who are officially starting their first year at school. Please contact us for a visit if you're interested in your child becoming part of Rufford Primary and Nursery School.
