Keeping up with the children - English

  • Are you interested in finding out how to support your child with their reading and writing?
  • Do you want to make games and books to use at home?
  • Would you like to join our parent group, meet other parents and learn something new?
  • Would you like to improve tour English skills and work towards a Functional Skills qualification in English?

This course runs on a Monday morning from 9.15am to 11.15am in school.

Please see the office for a slip to complete for a place. This course can lead to taking a functional skills qualification maths or onto level 2 in English.

Please note - you need to have lived in the UK/EU for 3 years or more to qualify. You need to have a good level of English to be able to understand the course. You can only be funded for one English/ESOL course at a time.
