British Values
Promoting British Values at Rufford Primary & Nursery School
The DfE recommends the need "to create and enforce a clear and rigorous expectation on all schools to promote the fundamental British values of Democracy, the Rule of Law, Individual Liberty and Mutual Respect and Tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs".
At Rufford Primary & Nursery School, these values are reinforced and we provide regular opportunities for children to reflect on and be prepared for life in modern Britain, both through lessons and in focusing on a specific British Value each half term in our Class Assemblies.
