What is Pupil Premium?

The pupil premium is funding allocated to schools to boost the attainment of pupils from low-income families. Funding is based on children registered for free meals or that have been in care for more than six months.

The Government believes that the Pupil Premium, which is additional to main school funding, is the best way to address the current underlying inequalities between children eligible for free school meals (FSM) and their wealthier peers by ensuring that funding to tackle disadvantage reaches the pupils who need it most.

How much Pupil Premium does the school receive?

Our allocation for the current financial year = £281570

The percentage of pupils known to be eligible for pupil premium is 51%. The national percentage is 26%.
