Congratulations to everyone who entered our annual 'Eggstravaganza' competition.
Our first enterprise at the Winter Fair was a huge success. We raised plenty of money which will be used to help develop our school garden. We would like to thank all the people who attended and bought something from the children. We are hoping to run another one alongside the summer fair.
We are very lucky at Rufford Primary school to receive delicious dinners served by Mrs Broom and her team of excellent cooks. We have many visitors who come and eat with the children. Recently we have had Councillor Klein come and share Roast Dinner Day with us. Also we had The Royal British Legion come for a Remembrance Day lunch. Members of St Johns Congregation and residents of Lynam Court join us for lunch too. All visitors are given a guided tour of the school by the children and are served hot drinks. We often have comments from visitors on the quality of the food served, the childrens behaviour and how welcoming we are as school. We strive to promote a positive lunchtime and think ours is the best!
Class 2 wrote to Miss Broome, the school cook, to tell her what they think about school dinners. Look at their super writing!
